“Desperation is like stealing from the Mafia: you stand a good chance of attracting the wrong attention.” (Douglas Horton).
Does the result indicated above seem to ring a familiar bell with anyone? In Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” Queen Gertrude makes the statement ‘The lady doth protest to much, me thinks’. We, today, paraphrase this statement in many ways and though our attributed meaning today is not the actual meaning meant in the play, our modern definition seems to fit quite well the situation the Democrats now find themselves facing.
We are told by the administrations minions, as well as the MSM (Main stream media), that all of this is much ado about nothing. If that is the case, then why do we see so many officials in the administration obfuscating and stonewalling and doing everything in their power to avoid straight answers?
Frank Camp, in his article titled “Democrats Grow Increasingly Desperate During Scandalpalooza”, makes a very good point about human nature and desperation.
” There is a certain sixth sense that allows people to detect what someone is really up to when they act in a desperate manner. This sense is innate in some people and cultivated in others; but generally speaking, human beings can detect desperation from a mile away. We see it every day. The real skill comes in figuring out the reason in the madness. Desperation emerges out of one place: fear. Fear triggers us to reach too far; to overcompensate. Unfortunately, that overcompensation always seems to attract unwanted attention.” http://lastresistance.com/2170/democrats-grow-increasingly-desperate-during-scandalpalooza/
I know that I can easily detect desperation in a person. I would hope that the majority of the electorate will come their senses and begin to detect the same. If you follow any of the liberal news outlets, you will see that the MSM is finally figuring it out for themselves. They are also beginning to question the validity of anything the President, or anyone in his administration, says.
